When Men Get Into Nylons

WHEN MEN GET INTO NYLONS

They say age ain’t nothing but a number. But it’s more than that.

It’s how you relate to pantyhose.

If you think of pantyhose as a normal part of life for women, you are middle-aged. If you think of them as ancient togs with all the sex appeal of bunion cushions, you are Gen X. But if you think of them as something to wear with defiant pride, you are truly something else. A brave new breed. A customer on the cusp.

You are, in short, a man.

Yes, while women’s pantyhose sales have been in freefall for about a decade, pantyhose sales to men are heading sky high. Or thigh-high anyway. And on a guy, that’s pretty high.

“Our customers are primarily heterosexual, happily married men that you would never suspect of wearing anything unusual under their trousers,” says Steven Katz, managing partner of Ohio-based Comfilon (as in comfort + nylon), the nation’s largest purveyor of male pantyhose.

Katz comes from a long line of leg men – his great-grandfather started a stocking company in the 1920s. But Katz himself only dreamed up his male hose (that doesn’t sound right) eight years ago, after perusing rival hosiery companies’ websites and seeing the same reader comment over and over: “Why are there no pantyhose for men?”

Ah, where would we be without the insights of the web?

Men were longing for the comfort and coziness of pantyhose – attributes I’ll admit I missed back in my own more pantyhose-intensive days. (If men said they longed to see their money disappear down the drain with a single snag, or enjoyed the challenge of trying to walk around in an undergarment that was, upon mid-day reflection, made for someone much, much shorter, that I’d understand. Maybe. But they really thought of pantyhose as the perfect garment: warmer than socks, less bulky than long-underwear. And so, they longed – same as women do for equal pay.)

Anyway, now that men can buy pantyhose, and do, it is fair to ask why younger women are shunning them.

The pantyhose, that is. What it is about this item that makes it such a cultural flash point?

When panties and hosiery first crossbred in 1959, they were more than an instant hit. They were an instant demarcation line. Before that, women had to wear all sorts of hardware to hold up their stockings. Pantyhose were not only easier get on (and off!), they also went so high up the thigh that they made the miniskirt possible. Hello, youth culture, Sexual Revolution and Twiggy! Goodbye rubber girdles – the very undergarment that had seemed so liberating to earlier women, when they bid goodbye to the even more-constricting corset.

What’s appalling to me, a pantyhose baby, is that today’s young women feel the same way about pantyhose that I feel about girdles: Eww. “Sex and the City” made bare legs the billboard for a liberated libido. Anything else looked pathologically prim. But just as women my mother’s age tsk-tsked the no-girdle look, bare legs in winter look utterly ridiculous to friends MY age. So now WE sound like old ladies.

“Look at those winter white legs,” snipped my friend Nancy at Dunkin Donuts the other morning. “Tell me that is attractive. She’d look so much better in a pair of nice black nylons.”

That’s why I’m hoping that the pantyhose for men movement takes off. If men can make pantyhose sexy, then maybe women can wear them again, too, without feeling as old as Betty Grable.

Or, come to think of it, Twiggy.

    Dear Ms Skenazy,
Thank you for your delightful columns. The “men in tights” (how it appeared in our paper) is a keeper, along with your fun parodies. I file the latter because I write parodies; the former because my group performs an anti-panty hose (in part) parody called I FEEL 50. Unfortunately it doesn’t get to that part on the snippet on our website but we sing about them being invented by a man “in some dark, misogynistic dream”. If you would like to hear it (in your spare time), please do let me know. I would be delighted to send it to you. And if you ever need a group to sing one of your parodies, please let us know.

Thanks again for your humorous, well-written, always-looked-forward -to, day-brightening columns! Happy New Year. Barbara

    Well said, Lenore.

Thank you for publishing an unbiased report on this emerging fashion trend, and for making reference to the premier producer of men’s Legwear, Steve Katz of Comfilon.com.

The women’s hosiery market has been in decline for many years, but now men are coming to the rescue! Many men have been wearing hose secretly for years. They appreciate the warmth, the support and the way that hose make their legs feel and even look good. Some wear hose that are designed and marketed for men, but many still wear women’s products. After all no one can tell whether the picture on the packet showed female legs!

Those who want to find out more about the ‘serious’ side of the topic of @Pantyhose for men’ might wish to visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantyhose_for_men and follow the links there.

    Hi Lenore.

Thank you for writing such a positive column about men & hose.
I have worn pantyhose almost daily for only the last few years, though I have always enjoyed the look of a women in a dress or skirt & hose.

You are right in the fact that todays younger crowd shun the look of hose, but anytime I do see a young woman wearing, I can’t help but hope she will be noticed by other women & that the “trend” to wear nylons or pantyhose will come back.

By the way, Steve at Comfilon markets some of the best quality hose. I am from Alberta, Canada & have ordered from his company for the last few years. His products fit & feel great.
Consider trying some of his hose sometime. You won’t be disappointed (though you could be considered cross dressing ).

    Thanks again & best regards.
    David.

    Hey there Lenore,

The topic of men’s pantyhose makes me think of that eppy of Seinfeld, wherein Frank Costanza and Kramer invent and attempt to market a brassiere for men, named alternately the “Bro,” or the “Manssiere.”

I don’t understand what is the appeal of pantyhose. They’re not durable, they don’t let your “parts” breathe, if you wear them with slacks they create a lot of static, and in the case of control tops, they are too binding.

More power to the men who wear them; however, where do you draw the line? What’s next? Men revitalizing the sanitary belt industry?

Oh god… the moment I hit publish, these other ideas zinged forth:

    MDS: “Just For Men”
The 18-Hour Jockstrap: “It lifts and separates!”
Prozac with a Jack Daniels & Red Bull chaser: “Father’s Little Helper”
NHL Maxi Pads (with wings!): “For a Happy Hockey Period”

As a happy married, professional, 30-something year old man who wears pantyhose and tights on a regular basis, I would like to commend the author of this article for a very positive, realistic representation of the large number of males who wear legwear like myself. As mentioned above, there are many reasons why men enjoy wearing pantyhose and tights – comfort, feel, muscle fatigue, warmth, sports-related, etc. – not the stereotypical reasons that others assume (fetish, sexual, and the such).

Several hosiery manufacturers are already producing legwear designed for men. Steve Katz with Comfilon realized the huge marketing opportunity years ago and has a fantastic product and a very large customer base all around the world. Other manufacturers have surely considered the male hosiery market but never decided to do anything with the idea.

I hope your article not only warms up folks to the idea that many men really do wear hosiery every day, but also wakes up some of the manufacturers who have been trying to find a solution to declining hosiery sales over the past decade. The business solution is simple – tap into the male market and they will virtually expand their potential clientèle by 100%.

I appreciate your article and your openness, and hope you will be writing another article on the same topic in the future (perhaps detailing the success of men’s pantyhose/legwear becoming commonplace in society).

Good article, Lenore. I am yet another man who wears pantyhose underneath my jeans, and also with running shorts for pounding the pavement.

I am 37 y/o, which makes me Gen X, but I have always loved the look of pantyhose and tights, on my own legs as well as women’s. I shudder at the bare-leg look, especially in the middle of winter. It irks me to no end that women have the freedom to openly wear this wonderful leg-enhancing garment yet DON’T!

I don’t think men can ever talk about true fashion freedom until we have an alternative to trousers. In addition to pantyhose, I am all for the kilt or some type of skirt tailored to men. Only then will there be true equality of the sexes — fashion-wise anyway.

People say men wouldn’t look good dressed in pantyhose and/or a skirt, but they’re thinking of those garments AS THEY ARE TAILORED TOWARD WOMEN. If we got these garments tailored for men’s stockier bodies and dimensions, then we might actually start to change minds.

Or so I can only dream and hope.

I am a straight married male 39 who has been wearing pantyhose for over 20 years. I find if you buy the correct size and better quality pantyhose they fit and feel great for people on their feet all day. I also find that they are more comfortable than most underwear that bunches up under your trousers.

I wish people in general were more open minded as Women often wear Mens clothing without ridicule.

    Great article. Thank you.

    Hi Lenore-

I think your article is complete genuis! I’m a happily married professional woman in her late 30s. Until about 6 or 7 years ago, I always wore pantyhose with my skirt suits for work each day at the office. Needless to say, with me dressing that way for work each day, my hubby developed a pretty intense curiousity for pantyhose. Right around the time that my wardrobe transitioning to skirt suits and going bare legged with skirts, I was wearing pantyhose for work only on occasion. One one of those occasions that I was wearing them, I just asked him if he was so curious about the hose, why doesnt he just try them. I then hiked up my skirt, eased out of my sheers, handed them to him, and told him to slip them on so he could expereince the feel. He complied like a good hubby and hes been hooked on wearing them ever since (only for bedroom action and not in public or anything like that). I really havent worn them much since (although sometimes I do miss that close silky feeling of them) and its kind of ironic that as I was moving away from wearing them, hes was getting into it. Now I wear the pants, and he wears the pantyhose! I think the idea of it is actually kind of sexy in a way, because his legs feel really nice when he wears them. I think men wearing them is becoming a trend because some of my friends have gotten their hubbys into hose as well. Im so glad you mentioned this!

      Karen,
I am a 53 y/o man have been wearing nylons for over 30 years, they are comfy and warm, specialy in the winter, I do not understand why ladies now a days just wear skirts, heels and no nylons, when this garment is not only sexy but has so much to offer than wearningpanties on the open. They protect form weather, and provide protction to the skin.
There is many woman that thye wear nylons to be with their partners and they become intimate, so it tells you that they create a sense of erotism and apeal.
I will continue wearing nylons and sometimes stockngs with garters…! one of my lady friends discovered my secret about stockngs and garters…she loved every bit of it , no she weras the as well when we go out in the town.

WF If you want to live some where where we men are accepted in pantyhose come to Tennessee I live in a small town about 45 miles S.E. of Nashville I wear my pantyhose with shorts and sandals every summer nobody says anything I go shopping at Walmart or to my local Postoffice or even out to restaurants like that I even wear coffee or white Pantyhose like4 that and people don’t say a thing to me I know they notice but so far they keep it to them selves.Next time someone says something to you or about you wearing pantyhose hold your head up high DON’T LET IT BOTHER YOU!look for saomething they wear you think is weird then do the same thing and if they say something about it just say “You do the same thing to me but you don’t like it so from now on if you don’t want me to say anything keep your comments about my nylons to your self and I’ll keep my comments to my self you don’t like it don’t look!”

    Thank you Lenore! Great column.

I just recently started making my husband to wear thigh highs every day under his jeans. He loves the way they feel and they help remind him throughout his day that he’s mine. Besides they’re warmer than just jeans because it’s cold here!

Personally, I HATE pantyhose and always felt they were a burden to deal with on a regular basis. I always seemed to trash them on the first wearing; snags, puncturing them with my nails, etc. I’ve never wanted a job where I had to wear them all the time.

When I do dress up, I’ve found that I prefer the thigh highs and garter belt. So much sexier looking than control tops and I don’t have to keep pulling them back up.

I’d be quite happy to see this become a man’s fashion accessory.

What a great article. I think there are alot of women out there who feel the way you do about this subject. In the past, most women would probably have been afraid to suggest or even mention the idea of men wearing pantyhose.

But the times are a changing. I have convinced one man that I dated in the past to try on my pantyhose. I have also convinced the present guy that I’m dating to do it. My personal view is that men NEED to expereince wearing them to realize what we go through. In much the same way that we as women NEED to experience things like equal pay. Getting your guy to try your nylons is, in a way, an empowerment thing in my mind. Its also a good way to get a break from those hairy, scratchy legs they have in bed without having the guy shave his legs! I mentioned your article to a few of my girlfriends and they think its a wonderful idea.

Now this is interesting! Women have worn nylons forever, so why not let men in on seeing what theyre like to wear? After all its just clothing, right? I still wear them to work everyday unless its summer . . . .they make my legs look great and I like that. We wear mens boxers without much criticism, so I dont see any problem with a guy wearing some nylons on occasion. I mean whats the hangup with women being so negative on this? Anyway, I think its a great idea and now im curious to see what my husband thinks of it!

Lenore you are an open minded and very modern thinking lady. I love what you say. I have worn pantyhose or tights since I was little. They are warm, comfy and my doctor even said I should wear the 20-30 mg support style to prevent blood clots.
Not only comfortable but a practical medical use for anyone with legs.

Lenore, the article you wrote was great. I was also please to see the positive response by men and women. I have always liked pantyhose and think they look great on women. I have worn them too and found the right size and brand make a huge difference. I think younger women, especially with “fashion pantyhose/tights should give it a chance. The bare legged look is ok but not every woman can pull it off. The right pair of nylons can make your legs look and feel great. As far as men wearing them, I hope that it does become more common place. My girlfriend and I (both young gen X) enjoy the look and feel of pantyhose. Thanks for the article and your own positive comments on hosiery.

I am fortunate to have a wife who understands and encourages my nylon gene, albeit primarily for bedroom liasons.

I am glad it is becoming more mainstream so that I can be more open about what I am wearing under my pants.

Being in a silly mood one night after a fancy dinner, my husband came to bed wearing the nylons that I had on earlier. At first I thought it was a bit strange and we laughed pretty hard. Then he went to get out of them and I said no way, you put them on and now you have to keep them on. We laughed more and he kept them on. But in all, things were pretty steamy that night. I must admit, his body felt pretty nice when he wore them! Since then, on occasion I’ve been able to convince for kinky bedroom fun.

I respect the article, and it touches on the gender-bias of our clothes. I think most women today think of a man in nyons as a crossdresser, and therfore something that does not get taken seriously. I was really happy to see the women challenge their men into wearing them and ultimately the 2 enjoyed.
If any women would like to see me in mine, let me know, guess what! Great legs are great Legs.
I like to see and touch yours in hose, even though you NEVER wear them anymore. You all talked about the cost of then and how disposable they are. Well talk to any man and you will find that a woman who likes to wear nylons is so SEXY, that they are worth the $8.00 a week.

I love to wear sheer to the waist pantyhose and 6 inch strappy white sandals. I feel very feminine and I shave my legs. I love the feel and softness on my shaved legs and my sandals complement my suntan phose. I used to wear my girlfriends moms pantyhose and her high heels. Reinforced toe pantyhose are sexy as well. My wife caught me wearing pantyhose but she understands. I want to fantasize about being a woman when I have them on. It is a most incredible feeling wearing pantyhose, high heels and a slip.

Thank you for being wonderful women , I think it is great that you have made men wear pantyhose , I myself am 3o something male and i love to wear pantyhose .my wife knows but really don’t approve. your hubbys are so lucky ! i wish you were my wifes best friends. so you can teach her its ok. I dont think many women are going to except this until a major womens brand actually puts it on the shelf for her to see . I do actually prefer the womens brands myself , i like silky and sheers . i love and adore women and women only . I think that womens pantyhose makers should just leave the package alone and just put on the back a size chart for a women and below it a size chart for a man .and just on the back say pantyhose for her and him . i would love to cuddle up with my wife in matching pantyhose .she thinks it wrong . how ever when i asked her what if the package said his or hers /? ” well then thats would be different wouldn’t it? go figure !

When my Co worker told me her husband liked to wear pretty panties , I thought awe how cute this big tough guy wearing pretty pink floral panties!! well i got to thinking .MY own panty drawer winds up in disarray sometimes . i made my hubby try some on for me and now he begs for them . Recently i tossed out all of his ugly mens underwear and replaced them with nice satin hipsters from victorias secret . I also force him to wear pantyhose to work everyday . It is nice how he has become more gentle and sweet . He constantly is worried i told my girl friends. I wonder how many other wifes have a secret pantyboy or hose man ?

I so much like to see Women respond on this matter . i have worn hose since I was 11 and then it was a curiosity thing . My sisters noticed how I seemed to admire their legs and since i was bashful in shorts cause my legs were really white and I was teased about them , My sisters thought it would be nice to have me wear a pair . Needless to say at first they felt strange , but I admired my tan legs . I liked them so much they had a hard time getting me to take them off before my parents came home . However it was too late i was hooked .

Anyway time progressed and I wore hose evry now and then when i could , They were warm during football practice and a friend of mine his mother got him tights in the winter , So we kinda found out other players wore them as well . but never spoke of it especially back in the 80s .

when graduation time came I had just about stopped wearing hose alltogether , But when i took a job which required me to stand all the time , I went to a doctor and he gave me pills to take for leg fatigue , I really didnt like them and mentioned it to the nurse practictioner , So she mentioned support hose as thats what she wore and even said there was nothing embarrassing about it as surgeons wore hose too to prevent fatigue . Which amazed me further she would mention such .

Well I still work on my legs a lot , but on occasion I do wear hose to help with the fatigue and definately at night when they really hurt like all get out . But i do see what women go through as they do get hot , u have to adjust them constantly and hard to find in a color and size i like Gees .

I also see why women wear skirts when they wear hose , Its a lot cooler , I mainly opt for shorts and its hard to be out in the yard in a skirt , but no one seems to notice as from the distance they are from me it looks like dark leg hair .

However i will say this , If there is such a thing as reincarnation and i have leg trouble I hope i come back as a Female . That way I can wear a skirt so it wont be so hot and i wont get funny looks when purchasing hose . Plus it would be nice to be one of the girls as you always have a friend .

I have always loved the look of women in nylons. Back in my high school days, I decided to try on a pair. I loved every aspect of wearing nylons. I liked the way they made my legs look. They were very comfortable.

I wear them whenever I wear dress pants. I ditched my dress socks, because I would have to pull those things up every five minutes. When I wear pantyhose or tights, they don’t sag. This makes them quite practical.

I hope the day comes when men can wear pantyhose openly. I feel it is just a matter of time.

in australia the best brand for fit that were designed for women and are a good fit for men are.kolotex sheer releif panty hose as they have a reinforced heel and toes. also these last well except out of the blue you can get a bad pair but not real often. these are good for riding your bike or anti chafing in horse riding and bush walking under shorts and last reasonably well.(If the manufacturer put a fly in these they would have a good selling male product on the market.)

What a great article, thank you so much! I have worn pantyhose almost since high school. I wore them during football and weightlifting. I hurt my knee my junior year, and wearing them also helped keep the knee loose during rehab. Once I got out in the “real world” I sat at a desk for 9 hours a day. By the time I’d go home, my legs and especially my knee would be tight and uncomfortable to downright painful. But I couldn’t wear pantyhose out in the real world, right? Finally, it got to the point that I got tired of coming home and sitting with an icepak on my knee for the better part of the night. So I started wearing pantyhose to work. No big deal, I normally wore jeans. But when summer rolled around, I had to decide between wearing shorts and going home sore, or wearing jeans and hose and being overly warm all day. So, I put on my hose and a pair of shorts and went to work. No one said a word. On rare occasion, someone will stop me and ask…and I explain. They almost invariably follow up with, “So that works?” I do shave my legs because hair under hose gets uncomfortable, but it’s been 2+ years since I made that decision. Now, I wear hose as part of my everyday wear. It’s just become routine. On rare occasion some immature kid will stare and/or snicker…but so what. The world is a lot more accepting than people realize. It’s just clothing. The only thing stopping you is you.

I could not be happier than to have read your article .At 48
I find myself ten times more sexually active and arroused
than I did at 20 , and dont really care what people think
anymore , so, about two years ago I began my secret life
of wearing pantyhose, garders, thong panties, all sorts of
womens undergarments.Ive wanted to for years, and assummed I
would eventually get caught and fired from a job, maybe filed
on for some crazy sexual freak thing,or worse, just plain made an outcast.I went ahead and brought the whole thing out
in the open about a year ago to one of my girl friends, she
was a little put off at first, but after seeing the way they really looked great on my legs, and constantly asking if I
had womens silk panties on,or hose underneath, and getting
turned on by it,she let go of the fright.
My real problem is whats the big deal,Iam extremely male, have only ever had bi thoughts, and have great legs, feet, and a ass along with package,I just love the way it feels,(period).I have no crazy thoughts about anything, but I have loved women in hose since I was a kid,we
would go nuts working in the grocery store to sack the fine
womans goods, just to hope for a nice leg shot,or more, and go to great lengths to catch a sight of a pantyless hose
wearer bendin over.I wasnt allowed to have sex with my high
school sweetheart because I made a promise to marry her,but
let me tell you, what she could do with a pair of hose, her legs and feet, and the way they felt, didnt need sex.We grew
up in the 60 and 70s knowing every great woman had a beautiful set of legs wraped in silky hose, and all our wet
dreams started with wondering what was at the top of those
    lickable looking babes legs.
Its way past high time, thanks for the great article, and by the way,I do complete layout photoshots in my high heels, hose, thongs, garters, etc, and Iam searching constantly for an internet sight that would even consider posting them,
for free,so ladies could get a very serious idea how a great pair of legs, feet, and ass, stacks up to thier eyes.I think they would reach immediate acceptance.Lets go guys, take this all the way,we have been tied up in cotton
bags around our jewels long enough.Ladies want shaved privates, legs as well sometimes, and manacured feet, then lets
dress um up like no bodies business. Thanks again.Freedom at last. Richey

Great article. I have been wearing hosiery since the early seventies when the Army issued them to us in Alaska. They told us they are thin so you can maneuver easier, they are warm, they are light. They were right. I was told by a sales lady at Lane Bryant, a womens clothing store, that nationally they sold hundreds of thousands of tights or pantyhose to men. She claimed Police like them for the same purpose the Army does, many roofers wear them for the adility to maneuver on a roof without bulkiness. I also like to wear a knee length denim cargo skirt. I’m not dressing to be a woman. I just like the freedom and comfort of a skirt. Remember, a knee length skirt always has been a mans garment since before the Roman days and still is in over three hundred countries worldwide. Only in America the melting pot of society do you have the constant bickering by tunnel visioned, uneducated and prejudiced people, both male and female over what someone else is wearing. The law states you must cover your body in public. It doesn’t care what you cover it with. Everyone should have the right to be comfortable and free to wear whatever they want. Not just the Women. The equal rights bill MEANS “EQUAL RIGHTS”. Kevin

Hi again Lenore, I was just wondering, What if mothers dressed their children, boys and girls, the same. Maintain the same pretty pastels with ribbons and bows for the girls, and a plain blue or brown dress or skirt for the boys. This would maintain the femininity in style for the girls at the same time it would be exposing the boys to the comfort and freedom of a dress or skirt. Now a days a little girl is exposed to every form of clothing. A little boy has a choice of short pants or long pants period. This country has even disgraced world sporting events like soccer where a kilt was supposed to be worn. Girls field hockey demands playing with a skirt on, and I have even seen boys playing on a girls field hocky team wearing the skirt because that is the uniform and he was brave enough to go with the rules. No one ever said anything to him about the skirt, only compliments about his playing in the game. I really believe if people just wore the clothing of their choice without disguising their body no one would really care. If a man wears a skirt without using a wig, makeup, jewelry and other accessories to disguise himself, then the public would say there is a man wearing a skirt. When a woman wears mens clothing she doesn’t wear a moustache and beard to hide her femininity and people just say there is a woman carpenter, cop or wharever. She is not ashamed of her actions and is respected for it. Maybe the men should have half of a womans bravery and stop the bickering and discrimination. Kevin

Thank You Lenore for the very balanced article. I am a 35 year old married man who likes to wear pantyhose, and appreciates how comfortable, how they look and feel on me and women. I started wearing when I was 13 and just tried them on to see what the big deal was, it was amazing, but I only wore a few more times and stopped just before I was 15. When I was out of high school and in college I started to wear again. Wow it felt great, but I was concerned that it would get me into trouble if people found out. So I told my girlfriend at the time, she didn’t think it was all that strange and thought it was great that I knew what she had to go through wearing them. I realized they were great to keep your feet and legs from being tired and achy, and kept your legs warm during the cold Great Lakes winters. I talked with several of my closest friends about this over the years and the reactions were what I expected. Some(my long time lady friends)appreciated that me and other men knew what it’s like to wear nylons both good and bad, and understood why we like to wear them. Some didn’t want to hear about it, and not discuss it. The rest would joke about it(one friend said the people in white coats can help you) and would poke fun at me and sometimes say some nasty stuff. When I met my wife I told her about it a few months after we started dating and just recently talked about it to let her know what my reasons for wearing were. She said it was wierd and strange that men would like to wear nylons, even explaining the reasons:comfort, feel and support for my tired legs. My wife doesn’t like to wear unless it’s for special occasions,Church or when she has to at work. For all the men who like to wear and their wives fully encourage it God Bless you all, it is really hard to make others understand, and maybe down the road it will become more acceptable for men to wear pantyhose in public, and that it will be a great day when that happens. I know it will take time for my wife to understand, but I feel better that she knows and doesn’t make a big deal about it. People will judge you no matter what and that’s their problem so keep on wearing and they will come around. Thank you again Lenore for the article and have a blessed day!

I hate seams and flys on my underwear. Having discovered nice
seamless women’s underpants and how comfortable they were, I’m willing
to try anything. White women’s seamless hipsters and bikinis are
absolutely my favorite underwear, along with a fresh white Men’s cotton
    V-neck T-shirt. I’m thinking that since I don’t wear a bra, dress,
camosole, or anything, I must not be a perv. A nice pair of white
    seamless panties doesn’t count, right?

I don’t have any pantyhose now, but will be stopping at the drug store
today and pick up a couple of pair. Not only will they be warmer this
winter, without added bulk, but they will act to help diminish the
dreaded ….panty line! Thanks for the article!

    Men and Women
    Men
If you like pantyhose and would like to see women’s acceptance please email me right away. In your email I would like to see you admit to wearing pantyhose, how they feel, weather or not you have tried the actual men’s brand of pantyhose (can be found on the internet ) If you are like most you probably have tried them and went back to the women’s brand . , what is your favorite brand, style sheer silken mist control top seamless. Does your wife or girl friend know? How does she feel about it? Or have you kept it a secret from her? Have you noticed any health benefits when wearing them? I need your email to be clean and non sexual. How do you feel about women wearing pantyhose do you think more women should wear them? Do they look sexy?

    Women
Please email me your thoughts on this as well. do you wear pantyhose? What is your favorite brand? If you have any experience with a man who wears pantyhose? If so what are they? If a major brand like leggs was to label the box like this ( leggs silken mist for him and her ) would you be ok with that ? Would you buy some for him? There has been many reports of women participating in this with a man and they say it has spiced up a boring night life . has helped with health problems . one guy stated the circulation help after a week of sleeping in them helped with E.D.

Please keep in mind your email must be clean, non sexual graphics, but its ok to say yes my girl friend was very turned on by it . or it has improved a sex life or it is a turn on for yourself . no dirty words please . Ladies if you have not experienced and would give it a try please also say so. Thousands of men already do this but never tell anyone because of acceptance issues. And these are totally straight and in most cases married men.

Acceptance and knowledge of this is over due A major brand will step up and call them unisex .Men will still not show them publicly and that’s fine they just want to be able to share this with a women. I have chatted with a women who was on the way to divorce because of something similar and she opened up and bought her man some pantyhose and had him sleep in them , she massaged his pantyhose clad body and he loved it . he returned the favor to her now they are both very happy sleeping in pantyhose together and massaging and loving each other. Wow

I agree with many of the writers, I look at it as only clothing and when doing atlethic activities, you need to keep the legs from swelling. My gal accepts it but is not keen on it. What is the difference if a guy wears a regular knee sock or a pair of hose?

as one writer stated, if the package stated mens and woman sizes, that would drive more men to wear them and (hey big business, Increase your sales and big bonus’ for management).

I would like to see it more in the general public.

It’s been my dream to take ballet lessons since discovering back in the 80′s how pretty girls in middle school looked in tiny skirts and pantyhose. I much prefer the look and feel of women’s tights, as they’re not as stuffy as traditional men’s tights, so rather than wearing those,I decided to wear L’eggs sheer toe-to-waist navy pantyhose under my leotard. When I asked my ballet teacher what dancewear to use, he said “anything you can move in easily.” My result has been widespread acceptance by ALL of my female class-mates, some who are VERY cute! No one has given me a “funny look” or made a discrete comment hinting that I change my legwear! On the contrary, they’re very happy to have a male classmate and are truly supportive to not let me quit, “hoping to see me every week.” To be sure this wasn’t just some “polite compliment”, I checked a website asking female dancers what they REALLY thought. The OVERWHELMING response, 91%, said they like the look of men in tights, which reveal attractive male body shapes. Some even said they’re TURNED ON by the sex appeal tights have on men!
My conclusion is that sheer tights/pantyhose on men/boys are, in general, no cause for alarm, but rather a new trend that bends the gender-attire rules and lets guys try something new. There’s MUCH more acceptance out there than we might think!! I now enjoy wearing different types of tights and pantyhose at home and work and my wife is even buying me textured hose! She says they look nice on me with/without shorts and WITHOUT being jealous of what my female ballet classmates may be checking out in me! Thanks to my navy nylon tights, I’ve NEVER felt sexier to such beautiful women in my whole life! I hardly care what anyone says about my manhood-I think I look just as good in my tights to my pretty classmates as they look in their pretty tights and dance skirts to me!

I have been wearing nylon stockings for over 25 years and recently began wearing hold up or Thigh High stockings even more! I am fortunate to have a wife who enjoys my dressing up and I admit I am more transgendered than a crossdresser. Now I know I appear pretty strange because after all I am not a woman much to my dismay! I am actually an extremely masculine looking man who is tall and has a build like a retired football player! I don’t mean a huge extended gut either just a big older guy! The wearing of feminine clothing is a huge tactile experience with nylon, satin, silk and foundation. I knew when I was 11 that something was askew but I ignored it and went about my boy things. As I became a teenager and saw girls in nylons and or pantyhose I was very curious. A neighbor girl I went to school with and grew up with knew of my curiosity and when she would wear nylons, she would allow me to rub her leg (Not in a sexual way) to feel the smoothness. I would nevertheless get excited anyway! I even told her so! It was she who actually understood at an early age of my feminine traits because we would talk about fashion and makeup and I was on the football team! It was our senior year at high school when on an October evening her family went to visit a relative and I received a call from her. She said in a sultry voice, “How bad would you like to wear some nylons and a garterbelt?” I was over ther in seconds! We talked first about panties, bras, makeup, High Heels (my favorite) and nylons. She had a pair that I know were not hers or her mom’s. They were still in a package and they were extra long. She gave me a pair of size 7 panties to put on and she left for me to put them on. When she came back I was wearing the powder blue panties and no pants. The nylon panties were so amazing to feel on! I could not believe how different they felt compared to my cotton briefs or my boxers! She removed the stockings from the package and showed me how to put them on. As I rolled the stocking up my leg I began to literally quake with excitement! The sensation of the stocking caressing my leg was dizzying! The Garterbelt was a bit snug but fit as she helped show me how to attach them. When I began to move around I could feel the nylon sliding over my skin and the tugging sensation of the garters had me now, noticeably excited. She remarked that she could see my manhood pretty clearly through the panties and I was a bit embarrassed and I told her I wanted to change now. She left the room and I changed but kept the panties on! I even told her and she said it was fine! She kept it a secret yet she understood me and liked that I had this aspect of me. We are still friends and it has been 39 years and she will send me new style nylons (Reinforced heel and Toe) for my birthday and Christmas. She knows I want to be a woman and so does my wife. My wife is okay with my dressing at home (Never Been Out Of The Closet) but not with the “Woman” part! She knows I am not gay because even if I were to at least grow real breasts and have the feminine facial surgery and not the other surgery that I am only interested in women only! She loves making love while we are both dressed in nylons etc. and I have about 12 pairs of heels and a wonderful wardrobe of very classy clothing and of course nylons. I wish more women would be like my neighbor friend and my wife in understanding that there are so many men who wear feminine attire under their male clothes and are not gay and love to express themselves in this way! In fact the majority of men who do wear feminine clothing are professional and well educated! It’s a fabric, clothing! It hurts no one! It is the way we were brought up with a societal decision to have it be one way and one way only! Sad Really. I love wearing heels but I would be taunted and jeered at as well as possibly being accosted. Why? I am not hurting a soul! It’s fear and a lack of knowledge and education about this! ladies it really can be fun.

My personal experiences with wearing tights goes back to my days
as a recreational male figure skater nearly three decades
ago. My personal skating coach at the time noticed that I began to
chill rather easily during workouts on the ice. At her suggestion,
she rather candidly recommended that I consider wearing a standard
pair of Ladies skating tights underneath my workout trousers. To make a
long story as short as possible, they not only kept my legs and
thighs warm and draft-free, but also improved my free movements on
the chilled surface, especially when attempting difficult Free-style and
    advanced Ice Dance elements.

Now in my early fifties, I still wear them practically every day
during the cold Winter months and would not be caught dead without
them, especially since I earn most of my living as a private courier on
foot in Montreal’s Downtown core. My prefered brand and style of
tights is the Canadian-made Mondor 380 Cotton footed Large size in
either Black or Navy shades. They are exceptionaly warm and comfor-
table, and can easily be worn as a double paired-based replacement for
lounge pants around the house. When worn together with a loose-fitting teeshirt
and a pair of Capezio Romeo Leather Mens ballet slippers with cross-
based elastic ankle straps, you can’t be more comfortable then this
and look and feel more masculine at the same time. My wife was also
a recreational test skater and trained dancer in her youth , and heartily approves of my good looks 110%!

    Hi Lenore,

It’s amazing how this article continues to draw comments.

When I was in my 20′s, I had a girlfriend who wore pantyhose every day (as required by the etiquette of the time). She complained a lot about them and would even take them off some times while driving home. One time when she dropped by after work, she complained about her hose being uncomfortable, took them off, noticed the crotch had ripped slightly, and them at my place to discard. Out of curiosity, I tried them on after she left. I found they fit me quite nicely and were not at all uncomfortable. I came to the conclusion that the real problem might be that they didn’t fit her right, so maybe pantyhose are actually better suited to the male physique. Needless to say, that started me as an occasional wearer of pantyhose, as there are times (particularly in winter) where they make a perfect undergarment

I agree with your comments that bare legged doesn’t look right on women in winter or with formal/business wear.

I am 56 and have been wearing pantyhose for years they feel great and give me just the right amount of support and comfort that mens underwear do not, my boy’s don’t fall out the bottoms and the open fly or get twisted around in the briefs and they actually keep cooler in pantyhose, there are some pantyhose like control tops that are way to tight so I use hose with the regular panty, I have found that just my size brand and hanes silk reflections plus fit me really well, and I love how easy it is to slide your shoes off n on while in pantyhose I wear them everyday. My wife doesn’t mind that I wear them also.

    Dear Lenore,

I suppose by now you may be sick of all us guys writing to you about pantyhose but i wanted to give you my input. I’m a 54 year old married male who has worn nylons and pantyhose since 1964. For the past 10 years i have worn them most everyday/all day year round. Several years ago i wanted a job where i might be able to wear hose while i worked without hiding them. I answered an ad for a cleaning service that needed a part time maid and i wore shorts and pantyhose on my interview and was hired. In warmer weather i wore shorts and hose to work daily for 5 years and no one complained or made fun of me. In fact only 4 or 5 coworkers ever mentioned my wearing of hose.
As far as women hating pantyhose, i feel it is the sizing of hose that makes them so uncomfortable. Wearing them so often has made me have to deal with many of the same problems that women do. Too short, won’t stay up,runs, heat, etc. By trying different brands and styles i found hose that fit properly.
The hose makers are really to blame for their lack of sizing in their products. Pantyhose are the only article of clothing made which has way too few sizes. I think if women had 10-15 different sizes too choose from they might not hate wearing hose so much.

Lenore, I just read your article and liked it very much. I am a 37 y/o married male and I love to wear nylons under my jeans. You see I work in construction and am on my feet all day adn wearing nylons helps my feet and massages my legs. I have always loved them but only recently statred to wear them under my jeans. My wife got me hooked on wearing them in a sexual way about 8 years ago. She loved to see me in them in the bedroom although she has grown out of it but I havent. I am a former Marine and I started to wear tights when we in Norway for arctic trainning but kept wearing them whenver we in a cold environment. I really did not find them to be anything special but almost all of us wore them to help stay warm. I buy and wear nylons, stockings/garters, thigh higs, body stockings (I wear these under my running tights)and suspender hose. I only wear sheer to waist pantyhose under my jeans at work. I think the sheer to waist are more forgiving that any other kind as I am constantly bending over, squating and running around the job site. I think there are alot more women that like men to wear pantyhose then they will admit and whatever your motivation whether it be sexual, professional or curiosity I think they are great. I believe that there is nothing more sexier than a woman in nylons. Thye accent their legs ( yes I am a leg man ) in a seductive, erotic and professional way that cant be beat! It is truelly a shame that more women are leaving them at home or not waring them at all. Thank you to all the women that are still wearing them!!!!!!!!

I’m a 30 yr old male who first tried on his mom’s hose around 13 yrs old. They felt great and since I’ve been wearing under my pants. My wife does not like them and doesn’t want my daughter to see me in them thinking that she will be ridiculed by her “femine” dad. I still sneak them under my work pants. Nothing beats the feel, silkiness, warmth, or support. My wife doesn’t wear them enough even though I’ve asked her to. Oh well, maybe as time goes on…

I wear tights on a regular basis in the winter time. In Saskatchewan, we can have snow on the ground for 6 months. The dance tights I wear under my slacks keep my legs toasty warm. At home, I often will lounge in tights, a leotard and my Capezio Romeo leather ballet slippers. It’s very comfortable attire. My wife totally approves.

I too must admit that I enjoy wearing pantyhose for many reasons. I like the way hose feel on my legs. Pantyhose also keep my legs feeling energized thoughout the day, I’m on my feet all day walking on a concrete floor, the extra support for my legs is great. Also find that pantyhose help keep me warmer in the cooler months of the year. Have to agree with women that pantyhose can get a bit warm when the temp. goes up, but still worth wearing. To me wearing pantyhose is an ordinary thing, just like grabbing underwear for the day, instead I grab a pair of pantyhose. And yes I’m a happily married man. My wife even buys pantyhose for me sometimes. It’s just no big deal at our house. Oh well, I just wanted to add my two cents to a topic I know about. If you like it,wear it.

    Dear Lenore:
I was sexually curious to find out what it was like to dress in nylon stockings and a garter belt. I was only 15 years old then.
I tried on my mothers stockings and she had a garter belt as well. So i saw her one day put them on I got an erection that was like a pole.
I decided to put them on me one day well it felt nice and I was as hard as a rock. I can see now what attracts men who see women in nylons and heels. Wow.
If I was a girl I would have a pair of stockings along with a garter belt in my wardrobe. I would love to get a man excited.
I sometimes to this day would like to transform myself to a woman just to please those horny men. I would love to wear stockings garter belts and high heels.
    Thankyou.
    Yours Alan Toronto Ontario Canada….

Noticed that it was the 2nd aniverssary of this article today so thought it would be appropriate to add another comment.
What more to add other than I’m a 40+ married male who has been a daily wearer of tights for over two years. The wife thinks I’m mad but I don’t care, I shave my legs daily to avoid the itching and simply love the fit, feel, comfort and warmth that wearing them provides, my favourites are opaques in all colours.
My only wish is that men had the same choice of (sociably acceptable) clothing & footwear as women, because hiding our tights under trousers and jeans makes you feel like you are doing something subversive. I truly long for the day that fashion allows men the same freedom as women and we can then truly enjoy our hose in public.
    Until then, happy anniversary!!

Lenore, Great article! It is fascinating how something like “Nylon Stockings” for me is the height of my day! The sensation of rolling them up my legs is beyond description! My excitement is proof enough! I also wear pantyhose/tights because some days I’m lazy and do not want to mess with the garter belt/suspender belt. With legs shaved and then putting on pants, the cool sensation and slipping and sliding of material against material is so amazing! My wife often buys me lingerie as well as nylons or pantyhose! It is rather a shame men cannot be wide open with this! It causes no harm and is shunned because “Anal Society” say’s it’s “Gay!” or “Perverse!” That is not so! I will admit I know a judge, a police Captain and a construction worker who wear nylons or pantyhose!!! They are in a support group of other men who enjoy wearing this wonderful fabric and clothing. Thank You for bringing this more to light!

As recently as the 1960s, Nylon Coats, Nylon Jackets, Nylon Wind-Breakers, Nylon Coveralls, Nylon Waterproof Pants, Nylon Raincoats, Nylon Insulated Underwear, Almost Anything Nylon, etc. were Strictly FEMALE CLOTHING. The only exceptions that I can remember were some expensive Nylon Military Clothing- Jackets, Flight-Suits, and some Professional Ski Jackets. For Men’s clothing you had your choice between Leather, Cotton or Wool fabrics. In 1962, I was 12 and lived in Minot ND (very Cold there- keeps the riffraff out). The Kresge’s Dime Store was closing (the beginnings of Kmart) and clothing was almost free. I found 2 Pullover Nylon Wind-Breakers and bought them. (today no one would think of them as anything but Uni-Sex clothing) I took them home and hid them, I couldn’t wear them openly in public until 1965. But I did wear them at home when no one else was home, and a few times in public under another jacket or clothing. I was way ahead of my time.
In 1980, I had a Christian girl friend who noticed I liked soft, smooth items of clothing, and she said men are supposed to like soft, smooth things on women, they just can’t wear them. She also said men like women because women are soft and smooth. I guess.
I think acceptance of sheer/ invisible pantyhose as Uni-Sex clothing could take much more time (unless*), but opaque footed Tights are becoming more acceptable by women (and men) as being Uni-Sex, at least for athletic activities. Women need more convincing on this subject than men do. (Women are like cats, you can train a cat to do almost anything, as long as you change their situation so slowly they don’t notice anything has changed, or they become convinced it was their idea.) If women wanted men to wear Pantyhose, and bought Pantyhose for their men; men would be wearing Pantyhose and I wouldn’t be writing THIS.
(In 1984 a different Christian girl friend did buy me Pantyhose and Tights, without me asking.)
The clothing Fashions usually change when clothing designers and clothing manufactures get together and decide to change them, and then tell us we should be wearing them. (unless*) So if men want to wear something like pantyhose, men will need to convince designers, manufactures, and merchandisers, to make them (Uni-Sex) fashionable, acceptable, and accessible (in stores) to both sexes. If its not found in stores it won’t become the fashion everyone is wearing.
The decline of women wearing Pantyhose is really the fault clothing designers. Clothing designers have changed the fashions in a way that has eliminated Pantyhose from the fashionable, desirable, and acceptable female wardrobe. Designers are also responsible for putting women in pants and making skirts less fashionable and desirable. Maybe not so obvious, women (and men) will buy whatever they find in clothing stores. If its in the store, women everywhere are going start seeing that as the, now, fashion to be seen in. In other words, If pants started slowly disappearing from stores and were slowly replaced with skirts, more women would start wearing more skirts. The clothing fashions found in stores is not there because customers have asked for that. The customer doesn’t do the choosing, the customer is told what they should buy. Are Humans just cattle. Good article and lots of positive comments.

I really hope that the women who like men in hose will become more vocal about it. The more women there are that say it’s ok and sexy for men to wear leg wear, the more you will see guys come out.

I’d guess and say 90% of male wearers are shy to admit it openly. Ladies, we need your help.

This world would really be a better place if more men were helped to connect with their softer side. And it’s kind of difficult to act like a male macho jerk if you are wearing pantyhose and frilly panties. ;-)

From about age 7, I began to develope a life-long fascination for women’s silk underwear and hose. By 9th grade (this was in the late 1940s), I was secretly buying Munsingwear rayon undershirts and boxer briefs made for men and washing them out by hand, hanging them to dry in the back of my closet. To cover my tracks, I would always remember to stash a pair of my hated (unworn) cotton boxers in the laundry. This worked for a few months, until the day my mother discovered my stash of silk underwear. This led to a stern father/son lecture about how my silk underwear was “girlish” and that I must stop buying and wearing such unmanly underwear.

Of course, I didn’t stop and, eventually, my folks gave up and I continued to wear my silkies openly. Although dad was still less than thrilled, mother would faithfully launder my pretty pastel-colored undies and return them, fresh and neatly folded, to my underwear drawer. Of course, for me, this underwear, although silk, was a second rate substitute for women’s panties. Not surprisingly, whenever possible, I would sneak a pair of my sister’s silk panties, a pair of which my mother eventually discovered stashed away in the back of my closet when I was in 11th grade. Of course, this led to yet another father/son lecture about “girlishness,” but at least I was still able to continue wearing my pretty Munsingwear rayon underwear; something I did throughout high school and college.

During my first year of graduate school, I finally gave in to my “panty urges,” and replaced all my male underwear
with women’s nylon panties in an entire rainbow of colors. To this day, in my mid-70s, I am able to wear panties 24/7 with my wife’s and family’s complete acceptance and also that of a number of my closest friends.

Most recently, I have begun to wear pantyhose and thigh-high nylons–again with my wife’s permission. In fact, she was all for my wearing them, even with shorts in the summer, because she said they made my legs look so much better, especially with my legs shaved. This has been one of the more liberating experiences of my life; to be able to wear hose openly. In fact, I wore my nylons with shorts on our extended vacation this summer totally without comment from those around me. In addition to ministering to the feminine component of my personality, my legs feel so much better and tire less easily.

My hope is that more and more men will “bite the bullet” and have the courage to wear whatever they want to wear…be it panties, hose, skirts or whatever. Let’s be who we really are and let the chips fall where they may.

Yes, look at Dean’s contribution above. Claims to wear panties 24/7 “with my wife’s and family’s complete acceptance and also that of a number of my closest friends.” Now how many wives would willing accept their man in panties? His family, presumably grown up, also approve, so he has discussed this with adult children. Right. This is clinched by his closest friends know. Now what man ever talks about his underwear with his friends, let alone tell them he is kinky for ladies’ knickers of every color imaginable? Do they get together in a restaurent and talk about this? “Guess what color panties I’m wearing tonight”? !! Would put you off your dinner. What a fantasy world he must live in!

Then he says he wears pantyhose and nylons “with my wife’s permission”. Unlikely, and why does he need permission anyway? Perhaps this is necessary with shaved legs in public.

These stories can on one level be amusing, but on another they are profoundly sad, making you wonder just why anyone feels the need to write this kind of stuff on forums, when a little thought shows it to be a wish-list of unfullfilled fantasies.

So many ‘tights’ stories are really just spinning a yarn.

Hey Nick, you are in a minority here. I wear and have worn panties and pantyhose for the past 7 years. It all started with cancer surgery and then swelling feet and ankles. The panties for two reason, being hade of nylon, they didn’t stick to other fabrics because I had to wear a pad for incontinence after the cancer surgery. The pantyhose for the swelling of the ankles and feet. So those are the reason I started to wear these items. Now I wouldn’t leave without them.

Mead – I accept some people need to wear tights for medical reasons, but remain sceptical that anyone really talks about this with their friends and family at the local restaurant, or worse infests internet forums with their weird fantasies of which there are several examples above.
And if you want to wear brief nylon underwear, there is plenty available for men to wear designed for men, there is no need to squeeze into ladies’ underwear.

I’m old; widowed for five years; began wearing stockings/garter belt in early 1960s, when my wife suggested idea – after we had been talking about it for months……specially during intimate times. Wave worn nylons for almost 40 years – at home, I also wear short skirt/half-slip (after children womed out in 80′s).
Its just natural & part of my wardrobe; since being alone, I’ve added nylon nightgowns for warmth & a frilly feeling during cooler weather (too hot during summer months). My wife was basis of my transformation into skirts…..elastic waistbands with most being able to enable a petti-coat.
Yes, there were times when these clothes prompted sexual feelings; certainly as we slept after wonderful periods of intimacy. Today, its the best feelings I have even though the sexual side has waned dramatically. In no case have I even wanted to be a women, have to worry about makeup & hair-dos & to even think of men as attractive. One day, fashion designers will find $$ the motive & start providing uni-sex/dual-sex clothing articles for both men & women. In meantime, we choose how we wish to life.

She let her gaze trail slowly up the smooth, bare skin of his legs. Savous led them from the bathing chamber, aware of a multitude of eyes on him. She shook her head. She even stood, with the vague intention of leaving the balcony. He kept everyone else safe from her while she fought for control. Be proud of what you just accomplished. Since the wrestling match, shed managed to keep herself busy and mostly isolated. As She had told her to do, Eyrhaen gave herself into pleasuring Hyle. Gods, what a horrible thought! One of Nialdlyes dark brows soared up. She dropped her gaze since her face was still tilted by Brevins fingers. She threw another pillow, this time at Lanthan. Shed never thought to see that again, not aimed at her. Brevin moved easily with him, holding one leg as he lapped at her throbbing sex. It sparked the flame, and she dropped to scream into the mattress. It felt like he was pushing at the base of her heart. Unexpected emotion welled in her throat at the very thought. That would have been wonderful. I would cherish any child you had by any man. She licked his lips.

If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important(Christian Louboutin Boots).

    Hi Lenore.

Thank you for writing such a positive column about men & hose.
I have worn pantyhose almost daily for only the last few years, though I have always enjoyed the look of a women in a dress or skirt & hose.

You are right in the fact that today’s younger crowd shun the look of hose, but anytime I do see a young woman wearing, I can’t help but hope she will be noticed by other women & that the “trend” to wear nylons or pantyhose will come back.

So, James, you have been wearing pantyhose since 1973. Fair enough, but if this is not actually a fetish why do you say you ‘love it so much’? Do you have any female friends who know of this romantic attachment to an item of their clothing? Is this really the ONLY way to happiness? This is a strange thing to say about any article of clothing!

Just thought it would be nice to be the 100th commenter. A short look through the posts here reveals that a few good contributions are swamped by pseudo-men whose wearing of sheer nylon has restricted the flow of blood to their brains! I think it has to be said, that despite claims to the contrary, ALL men who wear tights and pantyhose do so for sensual reasons. They get a kick out of just talking about it, let alone being seen in public. The ultimate bliss is to be seen and complemented by a woman, and then tell us all about it! “Guess what happened to me on Saturday ….” What a strange way to carry on!

I am a 22 year old male that has always been attracted to pantyhose. I can always remember being a kid and loving ladies legs in them. I went the normal route with trying on moms and sisters pantyhose, and heels which are a must with pantyhose. I definitely love mary janes or sandals, just so long as they are black and MUST have an ankle strap. I have always worn secretely (having bought my own) and must admit that it is the MOST AMAZING feeling I can imagine. I second guess myself sometimes, and have even felt guilty, but just tell myself theres nothing wrong with me feeling good. I finally had the courage to tell an ex recently about my love for ph and heels and she was ok with the idea, however when we broke up she had some mean things to say to me in this department and questioned my sexuality, which further made me want to keep this secret which is hard because I do love women and would like to have an open relationship where this is accepted, or even encouraged (especially in the bedroom :) ). It is something I am not sure I could turn away from and be happy, the longing is just too strong. I love this site for the hope it brings me that there is a lady out there that will like me even with my secret. I am just tired of the secrecy and just want someone to be ok with me as I am. If any ladies are on this site in my age group feel free to contact me, I would love to talk to you. email me at myidissooboring@aol.com
